ABC7.com staffThe Trabuco Canyon fire was initially spreading away from homes, but voluntary evacuations were advised for residents in the area.A new brush fire broke out in the Trabuco Canyon area of Orange County Monday afternoon and quickly spread to at least 292 acres.
The fire was first reported around 1:30 p.m. when it was burning in an area described as Trabuco Creek Road near the remote-controlled airplane airport in Trabuco Canyon.
