Locals in South Minneapolis have made a roadblock for public safety measures against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the city.

Locals in South Minneapolis have made a roadblock for public safety measures against Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the city. Neighbors say that ICE is harming their communities and they have people keeping an eye out for unfamiliar cars, bringing food and standing watch, "I was like, 'Wow, we got folks out there taking care of us, looking out for us,’” Minneapolis resident Wade Haynes said. “It's good.”“We will be doing this again.” Many protests have occurred across Minnesota due to immigration raids that have happened in the state. Two demonstrators were killed last month protesting the immigration policies of President Donald Trump. The FBI is investigating both instances, as Renee Good and Alex Pretti were killed by immigration officers.. “We will rapidly acquire and deploy body cameras to DHS law enforcement across the country.
