PETALING JAYA: The freelance researcher who alleged that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) offered RM10mil to Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan has been charged at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court for obstructing anti-graft investigations.
Mohamad Shafiq Abdul Halim, 32, pleaded not guilty to the charge under Section 48 of the MACC Act 2009 on Tuesday .
In a viral video, Shafiq claimed that the offer was made so that Wan Saiful could change his statement to say he had received instructions from Perikatan Nasional chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to accept a bribe.
