A woman was rescued from Little Wild Horse Canyon after she broke her leg while hiking
Areas of lake effect snow will develop late Sunday night through Monday night NE of Rochester. Snow amounts between 2-5" possible.A lake effect snow warning is in effect for Wyoming County from Friday through the upcoming weekend. Substantial lake snow is possible.. Emery County Search and Rescue responded to the canyon at approximately noon Thursday.
Rescuers found the 37-year-old woman and applied first aid to be lower right leg before getting her ready to be transported down the mountain.
