Twenty Republicans bucked party lines to vote in favor of tabling the measure, including five from California.
The Republican-led House on Wednesday blocked a measure to censure Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Burbank.
It also sought to have Schiff fined $16 million which, according to Luna’s office, amounts to half the cost of the investigations into alleged collusion between Trump’s presidential campaign and Russia.
