ONOPOLY: Austin Edition.
The game will showcase several iconic spots and landmarks in the city of Austin, and the hope is to sell the game in the Austin Visitor Center. Game reps were at the event to share their process and next steps, including what elements of the MONOPOLY game will be “Austinized” and how the public can share which local brands they want to see included.
"We're really excited about this game," said Visit Austin CEO and President Tom Noonan. "It's really going to be an opportunity to show off so many great brands in our city from neighborhoods, to businesses, to Lady Bird Lake."MONOPOLY: Austin Edition will make its debut sometime in 2026, according to event organizers and representatives.
"We look for cities that have a lot of character, unique qualities, and city pride," said Sales Executive at Top Trumps USA Josie Cole. "Austin is clearly one of those. It has grown so much, but it's also stayed true to its roots."
