Reports of motorcyclists 'thrown in air' after serious crash on busy main road
Emergency services raced to the scene of a serious crash involving a motorbike on Monday night . Rochdale Road in Middleton was closed for hours after the collision, which reportedly saw two riders 'thrown into the air'.
There are unconfirmed reports that two people were injured in the collision, the nature of their condition is yet to be confirmed. The motorbike involved appeared to have crashed into a metal barrier at the roadside with witnesses reportedly seeing two riders 'thrown into the air'.Pictures show a large emergency services presence at the incident, with paramedics and police at the scene late into the night.
