But job location played a role in just 37% of moving decisions, with NAR noting the ongoing prevalence of remote work.Florida, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Arizona, Alabama, Oklahoma and Ohio saw the most net migration in 2023, NAR said, citing Census Bureau data.The South accounted for the largest share of incoming residents – 46% of the Realtor clients.But a third of Realtor clients also moved from the South, showing migration isn’t a one-way street.said.
