After a long offseason, Seattle Seahawks first year head coach Mike Macdonald will finally have the entire team in house starting Tuesday when veterans report and join the rookies and injured players who reported last week.
With that in mind, the Hawks are still sitting on an open roster spot, meaning it would not be a surprise to see the team make a move ahead of hitting the field Wednesday. And, according to a report from Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, to that end the Seahawks worked out four players on Monday. Adrian Martinez quarterbacked both the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Kansas State Wildcats during his collegiate career, before spending training camp with the Detroit Lions in 2023 and the 2024 UFL season with the Birmingham Stallions. Devin Carter is a receiver who spent 2023 with the West Virginia Mountaineers after having spent the prior five seasons at NC State, while Jesse Matthews is a receiver out of San Diego State who spent the entire 2023 season on injured reserve for the Houston Texans before being waived in March. Lastly, Jalen Sundell was an All-Missouri Valley Football Conference First team, AFCA FCS All-America first team left tackle for North Dakota State University in 2023, after starting at center for the Bison the prior three seasons. With the Seahawks also reportedly meeting with free agent center Connor Williams, the interest in multiple centers on the eve of training camp is certainly an intriguing development.
