Rumors that the Seattle Seahawks and Connor Williams have mutual interest have been swirling for a few weeks now, but a new report suggests a deal may be imminent. Agent Drew Rosenhaus went on The Joe Rose Show to discuss the Tyreek Hill contract extension that was recently announced. He would also suggest that his client, free agent center Connor Willliams was actively negotiating with the Seahawks, among other teams. “He’s in negotiations with the Seahawks,” Rosenhaus said.
It’s a wonderful development for Connor, who had a heartbreaking injury in the Titans Monday night game. He was on his way to a Pro Bowl season and a lucrative contract extension. Tore his ACL. And this guy fought so hard--we weren’t even sure he was going to play this year, and now he’s going to be ready to play in the first game of the season.
