PETALING JAYA: A famous cosmetics entrepreneur is alleged to have hit his two-year-old adopted child in a bid to create content for his social media channel.

According to Berita Harian, the man slapped the two-year-old with his hand because he wanted to film the child crying as part of the content for his social media channel.

The daily added that a police report was made regarding the incident, with the complainant saying that the entrepreneur asked her to put the child into a shoe closet and join him in hitting her.Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal confirmed that a report had been lodged over the incident, adding that police had taken statements from all individuals involved, including the suspect.

Aliff's Instagram account was also flooded with comments from netizens asking for an explanation on the matter. "Is it true that you hit Ameena ? Just because you want to do a live video, you hit her?" said one comment. Another read:"Did you really hit your adopted child? I don't mind if you hit your child if the child has done something wrong, but there needs to be a cause not just random."Aliff, however, has not commented on the matter until now.
