Despite no appearances at San Diego Comic-Con, fans still believe that Henry Cavill will be appearing in the upcoming Black Adam film as Superman.
, former editor-in-chief of Birth. Movies. Death. Devin Faraci revealed that not only is Cavill set to return as Superman in the film, but that it’s because of Dwayne Johnson fighting so hard for him to do so.
“Yeah. It’s not, like, specific. It’s all behind-the-scenes stuff that I thought was kind of fascinating, which is that the reason why… Henry Cavill has returned as Superman inis because The Rock demanded it,” said Faraci. “Like, he went hard, full-court press on Warner Bros.
Joining Johnson is Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Aldis Hodge as Hawkman. Other cast members include Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongui, Mo Amer, and Uli Latukefu in undisclosed roles.
