The 33-year-old lefty went 10-8 with a 3.55 ERA in 22 starts for Los Angeles in 2021 but missed the playoffs due to an elbow injury. Kershaw southpaw re-joins a deep Dodgers rotation that has Walker Buehler, Julio Urias, Tony Gonsolin, Andrew Heaney and David Price in the mix. Trevor Bauer, the 2020 NL Cy Young winner, had hisKershaw won the NL Cy Young award in 2011, 2013 and 2014 and the NL MVP award in 2014 – but hasn't made 30 starts in a season since 2015.
An eight-time All-Star, Kershaw is 185-84 with a 2.49 ERA in his career and made $31 million in 2021.
