Cincinnati Bengals Hosting UFL Offensive Player of the Year Hakeem Butler for Workout
CINCINNATI — The Bengals are bringing in veteran wide receiver Hakeem Butler for a workout according to Ari Meirov.
Butler, 28, is the reigning UFL Offensive Player of the Year. He led the league with 652 receiving yards on 45 receptions, averaging 14.5 yards-per-catch. He also had five touchdowns. Butler appeared in two NFL games for the Eagles in 2020. He also spent time with the Panthers, Cardinals and Steelers.
He's listed at 6-5, 227 pounds and ran a 4.48 40-yard dash during the pre-draft process. Butler played with former Bengals quarterback AJ McCarron for two seasons in St. Louis.
