Whoopi Goldberg tells ‘The View’ that a bakery refused her dessert order because of her politics

“She claims that they would not fulfill an order of these, because of her politics. That is simply not true,” the local lawmaker said of “ The View ” co-host’s outrageous claim.

“It’s light, it’s fluffy, it’s good,” she added, noting that the pastry “is actually very rare” and claiming that Holtermann’s is one of the only bakeries in New York that makes them on a continual basis. “Now, I should tell you, charlotte russe has no political leanings, and the place that made these refused to make them for me,” the “Sister Act” star said on an episode of “The View” last week.
