FINAL: Rep. Ken Buck defeats challenger Ike McCorkle in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District
Rep. Ken Buck earned 147,114 votes in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District — or 60% of votes — and his Democratic opponent, Ike McCorkle, received 94,722 votes — 38% — as of 9 p.m Tuesday.See the full list of Colorado election results here
McCorkle ran against Buck in 2020 and lost by 23 points in the solidly conservative district, which has not placed a Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2008. Buck worked as a prosecutor for 25 years — including as Weld County district attorney — before being elected to Congress. include enacting harsher criminal laws, reining in spending, pursuing anti-trust regulatory efforts against Big Tech companies, and “securing the southern border.”
