The House of Representatives Committee on Labor and Employment Sub-Committee on Labor Standards tackled House Bill No. 514, also known as the P150.00 Daily Across-the-Board Wage Increase Act, on Wednesday, March 15.
Present during the discussion were representatives from the Department of Labor and Employment - Bureau of Working Conditions, National Economic and Development Authority, Employers Confederation of the Philippines, and National Anti-Poverty Commission.
“It is important to increase their daily wage in order to support their everyday needs due to the continuous rise in the price of goods.”
