The official X account for Rep. Jonathan Jackson, D-Ill., briefly shared a post Friday mistaking Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., for House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y.

The post came amid the vote for House speaker, which Rep. Jeffries was a candidate for. Rep. Jackson shared his support for the New Yorker, writing “Democrats stand united behind @RepJeffries.” A photo included with the post, however, showed Rep. Jackson shaking hands with Sen. Booker. That post was quickly removed and replaced with a photo featuring Rep. Jeffries.A representative of Rep. Jackson’s office admitted to making the initial X post when reached by The National News Desk Friday.

“House Creative Services had the photos mislabeled,” the representative said. “We corrected the post as soon as the error was noted.
