Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., told Newsmax on Wednesday that while it's a great win to usher in newly elected Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., the populous faction of Republicans should remain ever vigilant about the 'swamp's' efforts to pressure him.
One of the original eight to call for Speaker Kevin McCarthy's ouster, Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., told Newsmax on Wednesday that while it's a great win to usher in newly elected Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., the populous faction of Republicans should remain ever vigilant about the "swamp's" efforts to pressure him.
The congressman from Virginia went on to outline that whom Johnson decides to hire is "critically important" because a number of staffers vying for slots will have come from McCarthy's office.
