The California Republican, who has long denied accusations of illegally dipping into campaign funds, will change his not guilty plea, court documents show
Rep. Duncan Hunter -- who is accused of illegally dipping into campaign funds to pay for vacations, video games and more -- will change his not guilty plea in federal court on Tuesday, according to court documents.
The documents show that the California Republican is scheduled for a change of plea hearing. It was not immediately clear whether Hunter would plead guilty or no contest. US Attorney Phillip Halpern confirmed to CNN that Hunter is no longer pleading not guilty."The court calendar shows that Duncan Hunter will go before a judge and change his not guilty plea in this case," Halpern said.
