“While someone has tried to cancel Black history month that is NOT happening in our office,” Rep. Crockett wrote on X last week. America may be facing a SUPER villain, but we are the heroes of our own story,” the congresswoman wrote. “With resilience, grace, and unapologetic power, we rise.” "I actually spoke with our great staff secretary,” she said. “It's in the works of being approved and it's going to be ready for the president's signature to signify the beginning of that tomorrow.”“Every year, National Black History Month is an occasion to celebrate the contributions of so many black American patriots who have indelibly shaped our Nation’s history,” Trump’s proclamation reads.
