It seems like Reneé Rapp can perform just about anything. From singing on Broadway and in a feature film as Regina George in Mean Girls, to covering some of the best songs from artists including Beyoncé and Alicia Keys, her musical talent seems unending. That musician proved that to be the case on Saturday as she performed a dreamy version of “Linger” by The Cranberries.
The crowd sang along, as Towa Bird played the acoustic guitar and Rapp sat on a stool for an emotional and stripped-down version of the song. Bird posted a snippet from the performance, while fan footage shows the entire song. Reneé Rapp has chosen to cover many popular songs throughout her tour, including “Daddy Lessons” by Beyoncé during her Paris show. The performance came right after Queen Bey announced her forthcoming country album and released two singles.
