Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla on Tuesday said the government is working on a rule that will allow prosecutors to work with police personnel, similar to a district attorney.

"Meron din kaming case build-up rule na inaayos na ang mga prosecutor at ang pulis ay sabay na silang mag tra-trabaho," Remulla said in an ambush interview.“Actually ang aim natin parang DA [district attorney] system nga. More like a blue-collared job na rin

Remulla reiterated that he wants to raise the evidence provided in court from probable cause to reasonable certainty of conviction. He said this will be discussed during his lunch meeting with Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo and other justices. The Justice secretary said he will also meet with the Department of the Interior and Local Government, the Department of Health, and the Department of Social Welfare and Development on Friday regarding incestuous rape.
