A number of SASSA grants are set to be increased come October 2024. Here they are and this is the amount that they are being bolstered.
This includes the Old Age Grant, the War Veteran’s Grant, the Disability Grant and the Care Dependency Grant, by around R10 each.The year is almost over, with only two months left before 2025 and the holidays coming up. Effective October 2024, the South African Social Security Agency hasthe allowance of a number of its grants, including both Old Age Grants, the War Veteran’s Grant, the Disability Grant, and the Care Dependency Grant.
We’re not quite sure what the impact R10 more every month will make for these grant recipients. The increases will be effective as of the October payment dates below. If the grant is not listed above, consider it not increased.As always the SASSA has indicated the October 2024 payment dates, in fact announcing all the year’s payment dates ahead of time, and the first few months of 2025.
