Vin Scully died Tuesday at the age of 94. Soon after the announcement tributes came pouring in from all over.

"We have lost an icon," said Dodger President and CEO Stan Kasten. "The Dodgers' Vin Scully was one of the greatest voices in all of sports. he was a giant of a man, not only as a broadcaster but as a humanitarian. He loved people. He loved life. He loved baseball and the Dodgers. And he loved his family. His voice will always be heard and etched in all of our minds forever. I know he was looking forward to joining the love of his life, Sandi.

Other sports franchises across Los Angeles tweeted out their condolences. The Rams posted a message saying, "The Rams are saddened by the loss of sports and Los Angeles icon Vin Scully. Our sincere condolences are with the Scully family, friends, and Dodgers organization." ESPN baseball reporter Jeff Passan was quick to chime in on Scully's passing, calling him "a storyteller, and nobody ever told the story of baseball better," adding, "He made baseball a more beautiful game. RIP."
