was set to be released. COVID-19 might have messed with those plans, and sadly we'll have to pack away our pre-prepared popcorn and wait until a future date is announced to celebrate this latest achievement.
But that doesn't mean our plans to honour the experimental genius are put on hold. With over 40 films under his belt and thousands of TV-Shows, Nobuhiko Obayashi has already left behind a sizeable legacy. A legacy that he started building from childhood, when his father gifted him a super 8mm camera, and he began creating magical animation clips by hand. Fast forward to today, and the late director has earnt the name: 'The Wizard of Cinema'.
