It was in 2001 that members of the al-Qaida terrorist group hijacked four planes and crashed them into the World Trade Center in New York City, as well as the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. On Flight 93, however, passengers gained control of the plane and it crashed in a field in Somerset County.About Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg:
