PETALING JAYA: The remand for three General Operations Force personnel and a civilian detained in connection with a robbery at a foreign worker's home in Semenyih, is expected to be extended.
Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the police will apply for a remand extension upon the expiry of their initial remand on Wednesday and Thursday ."For now, we are still searching for another suspect who is still at large. We have identified him and we believe he is still in the country," he told a press conference after attending the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters' evidence disposal event on Wednesday.
Comm Hussein said the police will complete the investigation before submitting the investigation paper to the Deputy Public Prosecutor.
