JOHOR BARU: The suspect in the kidnapping of six-year-old girl Albertine Leo Jia Hui has been remanded for another six days.
Noorfazlin ordered the remand period of the 31-year-old Malaysian man to be extended until Sunday, Bernama reported.The suspect was previously remanded for seven days from July 23 until yesterday to assist the investigation under Section 365 of the Penal Code, among others. Johor police chief Comm M. Kumar was reported to have requested the extension of the remand against the suspect to enable further investigations to be carried out.
