It is unclear whether the discoveries are connected, and officials had not confirmed the identity of the remains as of Tuesday evening. “After receiving additional information, agents have discovered what has been described as partial human remains after analysis from a forensic anthropologist,” officials said in a statement Tuesday evening.Guillen, 20, was last seen in the middle of a workday on April 22 in the parking lot of the Regimental Engineer Squadron Headquarters at Fort Hood.
Killeen police on Tuesday said remains were also found during the weekend. Participants in a vigil for— who went missing last year and was found dead in a field outside Fort Hood on June 19 — found the remains Saturday, in the same area where Morales’ body was spotted in the 3200 block of Florence Road, police said.
