Memorial Day will feel like 108°-110°
There will be no break from this unrelenting heat. Temperatures again climb to the lower 90s with a heat index ranging from 100°-104°. More severe weather is possible in central and north Texas this afternoon and tonight. This won’t make it to Houston .The resaon for this opressive heat is a dome of high pressure over southern Mexico. We’re on the outer edge of this high. This is doing two things. First, it’s keep the severe weather north of us and second, it’s giving us a lot of heat.
Sunday and Monday’s heat index will range from 106°-110°. Heat warnings go into effect when the heat index goes above 108° and that’s where we’ll be this weekend. Be safe, these are record setting feels like numbers for the month of May.Memorial Day will be sizzling hot with temperatures reaching the mid-90s with a heat index 106°-110°.
