Juan Soto’s oblique is fine. So is Austin Nola’s nose and Adam Engel’s hamstring. Shoot, even Drew Pomeranz and Adrián Morejón are healthy for a change.
Of course, the big problem with MLB The Show 23 is the big problem the Padres have been weathering for months:The real Padres will get El Niño from his PED suspension on April 20.

Nelson Cruz never hit at all.
None of Michael Wacha, Seth Lugo nor Nick Martinez worked out in the rotation, either, and Snell was the de facto choice in Game 3 against the Phillies, imploding in the third inning after Darvish’s one-hit shutout forced the win-or-go home game. And again, the reinforcement the Padres are hoping catapults the 2023 team to great things never came.Which is why one simulation of the season was enough for the Union-Tribune. .In the meantime, Padres fans who get MLB The Show might have a better time dabbling in the game’s other modes until Tatis returns.
