“We’re excited for the season,” said reigning WCHA Coach of the Year Nadine Muzerall. “To defend a title is difficult, but they’re up for the challenge.” Muzerall said she and her staff identify three key factors when adding new players to the roster; skating ability, hockey I.Q., and a “relentless personality.”
Muzerall added a notable Columbus hockey figure to her staff this season. Former Blue Jacket defenseman James Wisniewski is the Buckeyes' associate head coach this season. Wisniewski brings 14 years of NHL experience to the program.
