Developing new drugs is traditionally a lengthy and expensive endeavor, often taking over a decade and costing billions of dollars.
Manas aims to streamline this process by employing proprietary chemical libraries and AI-powered filters to identify promising drug candidates more efficiently, potentially reducing the discovery timeline from decades to just a few years. Hoffman, motivated by the personal impact of cancer on his own life and the community, sees AI as a powerful tool to make a significant difference in this field. Hoffman, an active participant in the AI landscape for several years, has been involved with OpenAI, Inflection AI, and Microsoft AI. Manas leverages Microsoft's Azure cloud computing platform and other cutting-edge tools, including some not yet publicly available. The company, founded a year ago, is in a rapid growth phase, focusing on building, learning, and deploying its technology.
