Daniel Matchett said he is standing for Reform UK - the successor to UKIP and the Brexit Party - as an ‘alternative’ to the two-party system
Daniel Matchett will contest the seat currently held by former Northern Powerhouse minister and ex-Conservative Party chairman Sir Jake Berry with a majority of 9,522. The Darwen resident said he is standing for Reform UK - the successor to UKIP and the Brexit Party - as an ‘alternative’ to the two-party system.
“While always staying informed on current affairs, traditional politics wasn’t my initial intention. However, my decision to stand for Reform UK in the upcoming election stems from a simple desire - I wanted to vote for them.
