Rachel Reeves has said that Labour will claw back money made through "covid corruption" and will crack down on Tory ministers' use of private jets.
She said that she would "go after those who profited from the carnival of waste during the pandemic" and use the money to fund public services. Reeves said during her speech: "For too long, Tory governments have allowed money to be wasted and taxpayers defrauded.She continued: "We will go after those who profited from the carnival of waste during the pandemic."With every single one of those cheques signed by Rishi Sunak as Chancellor."So, I can announce today that we will appoint a Covid Corruption Commissioner.
