Revered Adelaide United figure Carl Veart, is determined to restore a Reds’ culture that originated with the birth of the club 20 years ago.
Veart, United’s current coach who etched his name in history by netting the club’s inaugural goal during a 1-0 NSL victory over the Brisbane Strikers at a packed Hindmarsh Stadium on October 17, 2003, celebrated the anniversary in style on Friday night with the Reds’ season-opening 3-0 home win over reigning A-League champions Central Coast.
