When we talk about huge open world games, Red Dead Redemption 2 is typically right at the top of the list. And with good reason! Rockstar Games created a huge open world filled with details, to the point that we're still discovering new tricks and secrets eight years on.
There is, however, one elusive location in Red Dead Redemption 2 that has had fans obsessed since 2018. For the better part of the last decade, gamers have wanted to take a journey south of the border and pay Mexico a little visit. Well, it turns out you can. And you don't need mods to do it, either. Can You Visit Mexico In Red Dead Redemption 2? Technically, you absolutely can While GTA 6 comes out this year , we still have to wait until November. So why not pick up Red Dead Redemption 2 again and have a little wander around Mexico. While there are several mods around that let you explore Mexico, that leaves gamers not playing on PC unable to join in. The good news is that those of you on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S can avail yourselves of the delights of Mexico without any mods at all. It just requires being able to pull of a glitch which was first discovered by a Youtuber named ZacCoxTV way back in 2018. While this glitch is now as old as the game, it still hasn't been fixed in any official updates, so you can still do it if you want. Getting To Mexico In Red Dead Redemption 2 It's not the easiest There are a few seemingly simple steps involved in making this glitch work, but be warned that it could require a bit of patience on your part.Again, you can watch the video for a clear indication of how to do it. It does require some precision and will probably take you a few goes. It's also worth noting there's really not a huge amount to see in Mexico, as it was only ever designed to be seen in the background. Even so, there's an impressive level of detail in an area we were never supposed to visit.
