The Red Clay Strays filmed their new music video 'Demons in Your Choir' at the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science (ASMS) in Mobile County. The band, recent CMA Award winners, also interacted with students and staff. ” Members of the band are from Mobile County, AL where Alabama’s #1 Best Public High School – ASMS – is also located. The band filmed the video in the school’s historic auditorium dating back to the 1940s as the original Dauphin Way Baptist Church.that is now live on YouTube and Spotify. Band members also met with ASMS students, staff, and faculty for pictures and autographs.
At the 2025 CMA Awards, the band won Group of the Year over other notable music groups including Rascal Flats, Little Big Town, and Lady A. They were the 1st band to break Old Dominion’s 5-year streak for the award.
“This was a historic day for our school and its students hosting a local band turned global phenomenon. We are so grateful to the Red Clay Strays for being gracious with their time and including our school in the production,” says Asia Frey host of the school’s Nerd Alert podcast.
