Ohio is not poised to look like the borderlands of Michigan, with dozens of billboards along the highways advertising dispensaries.
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio will not look like the borderlands of Michigan, with dozens of billboards along the highways advertising dispensaries, under a new rule package proposed by the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control.prohibit advertising on billboards, radio or television, on the internet, or other ways “with a high likelihood of reaching persons under the age of 18.”
“The industry continues to appreciate the speed in which the division is promulgating some of these final rules packages, and working with the industry to continue to transition away from medical-only rules, and to get these 10B dispensaries licensed and allowing us to serve the dual-use market,” he said.
Also allowed in the proposed rules are super pre-rolls, which are called in the proposed rules an “infused single serving unit.”The rules make it clear that the pre-rolls and super pre-rolls are not allowed for medical patients, who under the medical marijuana law the Ohio General Assembly passed in 2016 are not allowed to smoke. They can vape, consume edibles, get relief from topicals and other consumption forms.Daniello said that in other states, pre-rolls are low quality.
