Record-setting games from Frank Harris, De’Corian Clark help UTSA outlast Texas Southern

Harris set the program’s single-game record with 392 passing yards, hitting 20 of 31 attempts and notching four touchdown passes to break UTSA’s career record with 52. Harris’ highlight-reel touchdown run from 19 yards gave UTSA an early 7-0 lead, but then the offense fell into a rut. Kevorian Barnes fumbled on UTSA’s next series, the Roadrunners punted twice, and Harris was unable to connect on a fourth-down pass, giving the ball back to the Tigers.
The Roadrunners built a two-touchdown lead with a 31-yard connection from Harris to Clark with about five minutes to play in the second quarter, but the Tigers rallied to trim the gap before halftime.
