A sold out crowd of around 55,000 people will pack out the Cape Town Stadium to watch the Stormers take on Munster in theThe tickets for the final went on sale at 10am on Thursday morning, and three hours later, just after 1pm it was announced that they were sold out.The Stormers have been setting URC records for crowd attendance this season and set one with the over 47,000 that turned out for their semi-final win over Connacht last week, but will rewrite that record in next weekend’s finale.
Last season the Stormers hosted an all South African final against the Bulls, with a sold out crowd of 31,000 fans in attendance, with Covid protocols limiting the number of people allowed in the stadium, but with no such restrictions this year a full house will be in attendance.
