The illegal immigrant population in America has surged under President JoeBiden, reaching a record of nearly 17 million.
At 16.8 million, the population has increased 1.3 million since 2022 when Biden’s liberal border and asylum policies hit and he eliminated former President Donald Trump's anti-crossing agenda on the U.S.-Mexico border, said the Federation for American Immigration Reform, a group critical of Biden’s efforts.
“The impact of these policies is causing social upheaval, setting states against other states, big cities against surrounding communities, overwhelming school districts and social service providers, as economic migrants from all across the globe pour across our borders,” said Dan Stein, president of FAIR, in releasing the group’s report.
The report preceded Friday’s Supreme Court decision allowing the Biden administration to look the other way in prioritizing which illegal immigrants in the U.S. to deport.
