The Marvel Cinematic Universe has featured several major stars as the Avengers across four team movies so far, but after Avengers: Secret Wars, the team could be rebooted, leading to popular characters getting recast. The MCU's Avengers movies are extremely important for the franchise, bringing together the shared universe's biggest heroes as part of the Avengers and even characters from other corners of the MCU, like the Guardians of the Galaxy.

5 Joshua Bassett Spider-Man Close Tom Holland's Spider-Man 4 is aiming to start filming in early 2025. Peter Parker is one of the most popular superheroes in live-action, with all cinematic versions of the hero being well-received, though Holland's has found the biggest financial success. Spider-Man should have a long future in the MCU, which could even include Holland staying after the rumored Avengers: Secret Wars reboot.
