“I thought it was really good,” North Shore coach Jon Kay said of the defensive performance. “That front seven is completely rebuilt. I think the only guy that’s coming back with a lot of playing time is Jaylon Joseph. But I thought across the board they played with their hands well, and I thought we did a decent job of eliminating vertical creases. You play a team like The Woodlands, you do it one time and they’re going to expose you, and they got us on a long run.

Players like Jacoby Brass, Tai Leonard, P.J. Douglas, and Josh Garrett were other key contributors lost to graduation.
