It’s been a busy start to the year so far for Rebecca Ferguson, who has already starred opposite Chris Pratt in a controversial new sci-fi thriller, Mercy. She’s soon to shift gears to the fantasy genre in just a few weeks when she stars alongside Andrew Garfield in The Magic Faraway Tree, which will begin playing in select theaters on March 27.
Later this year, she’ll be seen reprising her role as Lady Jessica in only one scene in Dune: Part Three, the trilogy-capping conclusion to Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi franchise. However, before she returns to the spicy sands of Arrakis, she’ll reprise her role of Juliette Nichols in the third season of her hit sci-fi series, Silo. The series aired two seasons back-to-back in 2023 and 2024, but it’s been on a brief hiatus since. Ferguson’s role as Juliette Nichols has become one of the most famous of her career, and most fans and critics agree that she should have earned some Emmy recognition for her performance in the sci-fi series. Silo is set in an alternate dystopian universe where the last remaining humans on Earth have been driven to live underground in a self-sustaining silo, but things change when it’s revealed that Juliette’s silo is one of hundreds of underground bunkers. Although Apple TV has yet to assign Silo Season 3 a spot on its 2026 release calendar, Ferguson recently confirmed during an interview that the show will return before the end of this summer. The film is a sequel to the hit crime series Peaky Blinders, and it sees Cillian Murphy reprise his role as Tommy Shelby in the new WWII-set action thriller.
