Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman are starring in the upcoming NBC sitcom “Happy’s Place.”
“I think our chemistry is so good, we are so good at playing off each other,” said Peterman, 53. “We are playing new characters in a new situation, but what we have together, that back and forth, it’s still there and it exists. It’s been so much fun.”
McEntire said, “It’s a blast to get to work together again. After the ‘Reba’ show, I was on tour and she’d come on tour with me and we’d do a bit in the middle of the concert. She got a bigger applause coming out than I ever did.”The duo also gushed about the friendship they’ve built over the years. “We’ve gone on vacations together. Raised our kids together,” McEntire shared. “Known each other a long time.”When asked about the “wildest” story they have from their vacations, McEntire joked, “We can’t.
