The variant with 'only' 150W charging can fully replenish the 5000mAh battery from 0% in 16 minutes 💪 realmeGTNeo5 TechNave
Previously, we reported that the soon-to-be-launched realme GT Neo 5 will sport the world’s first 240W wired charging on a smartphone. Now, the Chinese tech company has confirmed that not all variants will feature that charging speed as there would be another variant with a larger battery and 150W charging too.
Shared by the company on its Weibo account, the GT Neo 5 will come in two variants, one with 240W fast charging with an unspecified battery capacity and another with 150W and a 5000mAh battery. Based on the wording of the realme promo materials, it is pretty certain that the battery capacity of the 240W would be smaller than the 150W variant.
Moreover, while 150W is not that eye-catching compared to 240W, it still charges super fast, with realme claiming it can fill up the 5000mAh battery in just 16 minutes. Besides that, not much is known about the specs of the series, especially the SoC that would be powering both variants. Well, we just have to wait a few more days to know for sure as the GT Neo 5 series will launch this 9 February in China. So, are you guys excited about this upcoming smartphone lineup by realme?
