, realme has officially launched its new entry-level C51 smartphone in Malaysia, and is now available for purchase. Unlike its counterpart that was released in India earlier, the phone is only offered in a single memory configuration for the local market.
The new realme C51 sports a minimalist design; featuring a flat-edged frame, a rear panel with a two-tone finish and an iPhone-like camera arrangement, as well as notched display. The latter is a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1600 px resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 560-nit peak brightness. Like the C53 model before it, the phone also features the brand’s Dynamic Island-inspired Mini Capsule feature which appears on either side of its notch.
Under the hood, the realme C51 is equipped with a Unisoc Tiger T612 chipset, 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage . Meanwhile, powering it is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging, which the brand claims is able to top up 50% of its capacity in just 28 minutes.As for imaging, found on the back of the phone is a double camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary sensor and a 0.08MP depth sensor.
