CAMILLA PARKER BOWLES' romance with Prince Charles spans across several decades - but an archived documentary has suggested why the bachelor prince chose Camilla to be his long-term mistress and eventually, his wife.
first met in the early Seventies, but their fling was only brief at the time as the Prince of Wales was called away to train with the Royal Navy. Camilla married her former flame Andrew Parker Bowles in 1973, but a few years later she resumed her relationship with Charles.
